Artist biography

Compton Cisco

Compton Cisco, is a Compton, California-rooted West Coast hip-hop artist and one of the three co-founders of Dammit Boy Productions, alongside Tre Dizzle and FЯK$. His recording history predates DBP and reaches into the Southern California underground through Grim Reality Entertainment (GRE), connecting Cisco’s earlier career to the foundation that would later become Dammit Boy Productions.

When Dammit Boy Productions was established, Cisco became one of the central artists shaping the company’s original West Coast identity. He helped launch the Dammit Boy Mixtape Series with Compton Cisco Presents The Gangsta Zone, the first volume in the series. The 21-song project brought together Cisco with artists including Tre Dizzle, FЯK$, OG Daddy V, RBX, WC and others, establishing an early blueprint for DBP’s collaborative approach.

OG Daddy V played a significant role in The Gangsta Zone, contributing multiple songs and verses rather than appearing as only a guest on a single recording. Cisco’s connection with Daddy V continued beyond the project’s original era. In 2012, Cisco appeared alongside Squeak Ru and Big2DaBoy on Daddy V’s “Throw It Up,” with the Cisco credit on that recording confirmed as Compton Cisco.

Cisco’s history with Tre Dizzle also continued beyond DBP’s earliest years. He later appeared alongside Tre Dizzle and Compton veteran MC Eiht on “Big Black Chucks,” released on Tre Dizzle’s 2018 album The Birth of the Brink. The collaboration connected DBP’s original foundation with another established voice from Compton’s West Coast hip-hop history.

From his early Southern California underground work through The Gangsta Zone and the continuing Dammit Boy Productions catalog, Compton Cisco represents one of the foundational links in DBP’s history. His work as an artist, collaborator and co-founder helped establish the West Coast roots from which Dammit Boy Productions developed.
