Dammit Boy Productions documents Devin The Dude performing live at Scout Bar in Houston, Texas, on August 7, 2014. Rather than conventional audience footage, the surviving DBP recording was captured from a raw onstage perspective while DBP and Wickett Crickett were onstage with Devin.
The surviving 1:10:45 recording follows Devin through material spanning multiple periods of his catalog, including “In My Draws,” “Sticky Green,” “Lacville ’79,” “Boo Boo’n,” “Payin’ Fo Pussy,” “Almighty Dollar,” “I Can’t Make It Home,” “I Hope We Don’t Get Too Drunk,” “I’m Just Gettin’ Blowed,” “What a Job,” “Doobie Ashtray” and “Anythang.” The performance also includes Devin-associated material from recordings with Odd Squad, Dr. Dre, Young Jeezy and others.
The footage provides direct archival documentation of Wickett Crickett’s presence with Devin The Dude that night. At approximately 8:25, Devin stops to shout out Wickett and embraces him onstage.
Near the end of the recording, at approximately 1:07:00, Devin says goodnight as the DJ plays Johnny “Guitar” Watson’s “It’s All About You.” Devin, members of Odd Squad and Wickett Crickett sing along together onstage, closing the surviving DBP recording.
The August 7, 2014 Scout Bar appearance is preserved in the Dammit Boy Productions archive as part of DBP’s documentation of Houston hip-hop culture. The surviving footage specifically documents Devin The Dude’s performance; it should not be interpreted as coverage of every artist advertised for the event.
This video is presented as archival concert documentation. Song titles, artist credits and performance timestamps have been reconstructed from the surviving DBP footage and its original DBTV graphics. The setlist represents what survives in the DBP recording and is not necessarily Devin The Dude’s complete set from the night.
