Supa performs live at Back 2 the Block Block Party Tour 2: The Re-Up at Magnolia Park in Beaumont, Texas, on April 27, 2013. Presented by Blue Chip ENT and Dammit Boy Productions, the event brought together artists from Beaumont and the surrounding Southeast Texas hip-hop community.
The original event flyer advertised Supa as part of a lineup that also included Mayper Gang, Deuce Collyon, Cool Tony & J.R., A-Hustle, Crim Life, Jusp, Playamusic, J-Finn, Richy Rich, Blue Chip Ent., and additional performers. JNO The Joker was advertised as the event host.
Supa’s surviving 18:10 performance is one of the longer individual sets preserved from the April 27 event. The DBP archive documents a performance incorporating recorded songs as well as a cappella sections, preserving an extended look at Supa’s live presentation during this period.
Known material documented in the surviving performance includes “Who’s That,” “I Know,” “Sick Flow,” and “To The Top,” along with a cappella performances. These titles should be preserved as part of the historical set record while exact song timestamps continue to be documented from the original footage.
Dammit Boy Productions originally published the performance on May 25, 2013, less than a month after it was filmed.
Supa’s connection to the DBP Back 2 the Block archive predates this performance. Dammit Boy Productions also preserved footage of Supa from the earlier Back 2 the Block event at Tyrrell Park in Beaumont on February 23, 2013.
In that surviving DBP archive video, Supa was identified as “Supa of SupaHipHop.com.” That contemporary identification connects the performer documented in the Back 2 the Block archive with the SupaHipHop name and website used during this period.
The April 27 appearance therefore forms part of a continuing 2013 DBP record of Supa rather than an isolated performance.
Supa’s performance survives alongside DBP footage of J.R. & Cool Tony, A-Hustle, and J-Finn from Back 2 the Block Block Party Tour 2: The Re-Up.
Historical names are preserved as they appeared during the event. J.R. later became known as Jah’s Reflection, while J-Finn later became J Fendi.
Together, the original event flyer, Supa’s February Back 2 the Block appearance, and his April performance provide a documented snapshot of his activity within the Southeast Texas independent hip-hop scene and preserve another chapter of the Dammit Boy Productions DBTV Live Archives.
