Attack Of The Swaggots is the debut EP by FЯK$, released January 14, 2014 through his Gutter Gold Music imprint in conjunction with Dammit Boy Productions. The six-track project marked the first release from Gutter Gold Music and represents an important chapter in FЯK$’s history as an original Dammit Boy Productions artist and co-founder.
Created during a period when FЯK$ was pushing against the direction of mainstream rap, Attack Of The Swaggots combines underground hip-hop, sharp lyricism, satire and humor with the independent-minded approach that had long defined his work. The project gave FЯK$ a platform for establishing Gutter Gold Music while continuing the creative relationship he had built with Dammit Boy Productions.
Originally released digitally and as a limited physical CD edition, Attack Of The Swaggots had a physical run of just 45 copies. The limited edition makes the surviving CDs a particularly scarce artifact from this period of the FЯK$ and Dammit Boy Productions catalog.
As the first project released under the Gutter Gold Music banner, Attack Of The Swaggots established the imprint as an extension of FЯK$’s independent work rather than a departure from DBP. Gutter Gold Music would later serve as the label for a release by Style C, extending the imprint beyond FЯK$’s own catalog.
