Presented by Dammit Boy Productions
📍 Club Yakum – Houston, TX
🎤 Hosted by Wickett Crickett | 🎧 DJ Tre Dizzle & DJ Dahn Dallas
When Friday nights hit, Club Yakum transformed into one of the livest platforms in Houston for independent artists. Powered by Dammit Boy Productions and hosted by the legendary Wickett Crickett, Roc-D-Mic Fridays became a weekly underground tradition—bringing together MCs, singers, poets, and performers ready to make their mark.
🔥 Real Talent. Real Stage. Real Energy.
From its launch in June 2014, Roc-D-Mic Fridays quickly grew into a cornerstone of H-Town’s open mic circuit. While the city buzzed with commercial noise, Club Yakum kept the focus on raw skill, unfiltered voices, and the heartbeat of the streets.
Artists took the stage in front of a live crowd, backed by professional sound, lighting, and video production by Dammit Boy. The vibe was electric, the crowd was live, and the performances were pure Houston culture.
📽️ Capturing Houston’s Underground
Every Friday event was professionally recorded by Dammit Boy Productions. Performances were filmed with high-quality video and audio—ensuring that no moment, freestyle, or standout verse was lost to time.
This wasn’t just a party—it was a preservation of the underground, a platform where future legends sharpened their blades in real time.
🎧 Powered by DJs Tre Dizzle & DJ Dahn Dallas
The beats stayed knockin’ all night, thanks to DJ Tre Dizzle and DJ Dahn Dallas, who set the pace and kept the energy on 10. Their work behind the decks created the perfect sonic space for artists to shine.
