Tre Dizzle
Born in Anaheim, California and raised between California and Southeast Texas, Tre Dizzle has spent decades building a reputation rooted in authenticity, lyricism, and independent hustle. Long before the rise of social media marketing and DIY music culture, Tre was already developing the blueprint — combining artistry, performance, production, promotion, and media into one unified vision.
Known early on as the entertainer of the family, Tre discovered his passion for performing as a child through Al Fann’s Theatrical Ensemble, where he first learned the power of commanding a stage and connecting with an audience. That passion quickly evolved into music, DJing, and eventually hip-hop culture becoming the foundation of his life’s work.
At just 12 years old, Tre stepped behind the turntables as the DJ for a local California rap group known as The PH Boys. By his teenage years, after relocating back to California, he had fully immersed himself in the underground hip-hop scene, sharpening both his lyrical ability and production knowledge while building relationships throughout the West Coast independent circuit.
In 1996, Tre linked with Chicago native Myle to form Flatline Entertainment. Together they released two projects — Come and Take a Ride (1997) and 353:2000 AD (2000), featuring collaborator Bogard. During this period, Tre expanded beyond performing and began developing the behind-the-scenes skills that would later become a major part of the Dammit Boy Productions movement.
Tre later joined The Nightbreed, performing alongside respected underground artists including Insane Poetry, Compton Cisco, and Thadius throughout the Orange County hip-hop scene. These years helped shape the aggressive delivery, sharp storytelling, and independent mentality that would become trademarks of his style.
In 2003, Tre Dizzle co-founded Dammit Boy Productions alongside Compton Cisco and FRKS, creating a platform focused on authentic independent hip-hop, raw street perspective, and artist development. What began as a local movement steadily evolved into a long-running independent brand spanning music, live events, video production, merchandising, and underground media coverage.
After relocating to Houston, Texas in 2008, Tre became deeply involved in the city’s independent music culture. Throughout the following decade he built a reputation not only as an artist and DJ, but also as a videographer, promoter, and documentarian — capturing performances, interviews, showcases, and underground moments that many artists overlooked. His work became closely connected to Houston’s underground scene through platforms and events including Wickett Crickett’s Roc-D-Mic nights, SXSW showcases, and the Get Money Stop Hatin’ Tour.
In 2018, Tre released his first official solo album, The Birth of the Brink, under Dammit Boy Productions — a project that represented years of growth, perseverance, and dedication to independent hip-hop culture.
Today, Tre Dizzle continues to evolve as an artist, producer, creative director, and founder of Dammit Boy Productions. Blending West Coast influence, Southern grind, underground authenticity, and executive-level independence, Tre remains committed to building platforms not only for himself, but for the next generation of independent artists connected to the DBP movement.
