Release Details

Compton Cisco Presents: Gangsta’s Zone

Gangsta’s Zone was the first official release created by the original Dammit Boy Productions founding circle following the departure from Grim Reality Entertainment.

Led by Compton Cisco and featuring contributions from Tre Dizzle and FRKS, the project marked the beginning of a new independent movement built around raw underground hip-hop, West Coast street influence, and collaborative artist development.

The mixtape brought together a wide range of artists and voices from the underground scene, including appearances by Daddy V, RBX, WC, and other respected collaborators, helping establish the early identity and direction of Dammit Boy Productions.

More than just a mixtape, Gangsta’s Zone represented a turning point — the launch of a new chapter driven by independence, loyalty, creative control, and authentic street-oriented hip-hop culture.

This release would ultimately become the foundation for the long-running DBP mixtape series and the evolution of Dammit Boy Productions into a broader music, media, and artist development brand.
