Artist biography

Wicked Rebel

Wicked Rebel is an independent hip-hop artist documented within the Dammit Boy Productions historical network through his connection to the Blue Chip Entertainment family. Historically referenced within DBP records by the shortened name Wicked, he is part of the extended artist network connecting Dammit Boy Productions with Blue Chip Entertainment and its surrounding circle of independent artists.

DBP’s surviving records identify Wicked within the Blue Chip Entertainment family and document a collaborator relationship with Dammit Boy Productions. This connection places him within the same broader independent music network represented throughout DBP’s artist, release and historical archives.

Blue Chip Entertainment Connection

Blue Chip Entertainment represents an important part of the surviving Wicked Rebel research. DBP records associate Wicked with the Blue Chip Entertainment family, while additional research into releases from that circle has produced potential recording connections that are still being verified.

One significant research lead involves J-Roq the Move Maker’s 2013 album Choices, released through Blue Chip Entertainment. The song “Tear the Club Up” carries a feature credit to an artist identified as “Wickett.” Historical DBP material surrounding the release also references Wicked, creating a possible identity connection between the two names.

That connection has not yet been conclusively verified, however, and Dammit Boy Productions currently preserves “Wickett” as a research lead rather than presenting the recording as a confirmed Wicked Rebel credit. The artist should also not be confused with Houston personality and DBP archive figure Wickett Crickett, whose history is documented separately.

Dammit Boy Productions Archive

Wicked Rebel’s relationship with Dammit Boy Productions is currently documented as a collaborator and historical network connection rather than as a DBP recording artist. His inclusion in the archive reflects DBP’s continuing effort to document the artists, companies and relationships that intersected with its history.

Research into his recording history, Blue Chip Entertainment connections and additional collaborations remains ongoing. As original materials and firsthand information are recovered, this profile will be expanded while maintaining a distinction between documented history and information that still requires verification.

DBP Hip-Hop Archive Notice: Wicked Rebel is presented as part of the DBP Hip-Hop Archive, an ongoing effort to preserve the artists, releases, relationships and independent music history documented through Dammit Boy Productions’ original records and archives.
