Mr. 1000

Mr. 1000 is a Houston hip-hop artist whose career spans multiple eras of the city’s underground Southern rap scene. Today representing So Official Entertainment (S.O.E.), Mr. 1000 has built his catalog through independent releases, live performances and collaborations with artists throughout Houston’s hip-hop community.

His history reaches back well before the current Mr. 1000 era, including an earlier chapter connected to Houston’s Screwed Up Click history. As his career evolved, so did his artistic identity, eventually establishing Mr. 1000 as his current name and So Official Entertainment as his present-day affiliation. His history is preserved as part of the larger Houston hip-hop story, while his current work continues under the Mr. 1000 and S.O.E. banner.

Mr. 1000 also has a documented history with Dammit Boy Productions’ Houston archive. DBP footage captures him performing during the Roc-D-Mic era, including appearances at Diezelz Lounge in 2014 and Club Yakum in 2015. These performances place him within the network of Houston artists and collaborators documented by DBP during that period.

His current recording era includes the 2025 album Tales From The Truth, released as Mr.1000 of S.O.E. through So Official Entertainment. The 12-song project includes “Slab Homage,” “Born In It,” “Another Dam Story,” “Cash Cream Paper” and “Tunnel Vision,” with guest appearances from Slimmioski, C-Clain, Ms. Nikki and Pootsy Lee.

Mr. 1000’s connection with the DBP circle has continued through collaborations as well, including his appearance with Boleggz and Daze Pirelli on “Real Recognize Real” from Boleggz’s The Pull Up.
