Aaron Tyler, professionally known as MC Eiht, is a legendary West Coast rapper, actor, and founding member of the influential Compton rap group Compton’s Most Wanted. Emerging from the city of Compton, California during the late 1980s, MC Eiht became one of the defining voices of gangsta rap through his vivid storytelling, street-oriented lyricism, and authentic representation of Southern California life.

As both a solo artist and a member of Compton’s Most Wanted, MC Eiht released numerous influential projects that helped shape the sound and culture of West Coast hip-hop. His work earned widespread recognition throughout the 1990s and established him as one of the genre’s most respected lyricists.
