Artist biography
Compton Cisco is a founding force behind Dammit Boy Productions and a respected voice from the West Coast underground hip-hop scene. As one of the original members alongside Tre Dizzle and FRKS, Cisco helped establish the foundation, identity, and street-certified authenticity that would define the Dammit Boy movement for over two decades.
Representing Compton, California, Compton Cisco became known for his unapologetic lyricism, heavy street influence, and commanding delivery rooted in classic West Coast gangsta rap traditions. His influence on the brand expanded beyond music, helping shape the raw underground energy that fueled the early Dammit Boy era.
Cisco played a historic role in launching the official Dammit Boy Mixtape Series with the release of Dammit Boy Mixtape Vol. 1: Compton Cisco Presents Gangsta’s Zone in 2006. The project introduced listeners to the signature Dammit Boy sound — combining aggressive street records, underground storytelling, and collaborative chemistry between core members including Tre Dizzle, FRKS, and other West Coast artists.
His legacy within the movement continued through multiple collaborations, including the standout track “Big Black Chucks” alongside Tre Dizzle and legendary Compton rap icon MC Eiht on Tre Dizzle’s 2018 release The Birth of the Brink. The collaboration connected Dammit Boy Productions directly to the lineage of authentic West Coast street rap while showcasing Cisco’s continued presence and importance within the collective.
As Dammit Boy Productions expanded from California to Houston and beyond, Compton Cisco remained a respected representative of Dammit Boy West — carrying the original spirit of the movement while continuing to influence the culture, sound, and legacy of the brand.
